What is a face extension?

Face extension is additional foam, on the front face of the rear seat, that extends towards the front seat of the bike. The purpose of this option is to hold the rider more forward on the bike while in the “sit down” position. This option will change the way it feels to be in the “seat stander” position, especially for average to taller height riders. Face Extensions are only recommended for riders who are shorter in height, or those who prefer a tight cockpit. See the image below for a visual representation of the additional material added to the face of the rear seat.

How far forward is the extension?

The face extensions are represented by an approximate measurement in inches. This measurement is taken from the forward most point of the stock seat pan.
